Pat Azzarello, Keyboards
A native of Chicago, IL, is a professional performing and studio musician with thousands of gigs and nearly a thousand recording sessions under his belt. With a music degree from DePaul University, he is also an alum of Berklee College of Music in Boston, and the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program.
Greg Backstrom, Bass
Greg comes to us from Portland, Oregon. He studied music at Lewis and Clark College in Portland (percussion performance), and later attended the University of Oregon, where he earned an accounting degree. Prior to competing his education, Greg was a founding member of Portland’s acclaimed jazz fusion band “Forecast.” He also played for local club favorites “Dial M” and “D’ Vice.” While in Portland, Greg was also active in the local studio scene, recording commercials and demos for Rex and Spectrum Studios. Prior to settling in Portland, Greg traveled internationally as bassist and music director for “The Rich Manning Show” and “The Escape Band.” Since arriving in Washington, Greg has played in the “pit” for Tacoma Musical Playhouse, and has spent many years playing for The Brickhouse Showband.
Glenn Thilman, Drums
Glenn hails from Los Angeles, where he studied performance and music theory at the Dick Grove School of Music and Los Angeles Valley College. Glenn is an experienced music educator, with over 25 years of experience teaching drums, and 45 years of performing under his belt. Glenn joined the band in 2018 with a shared love in 70’s jazz/fusion/rock music.
